1492, they formed what was called Al-Andalus and it was a territory that included most of Spain. During seven Centuries the Christians fought many times against the Moors and other circumstantial allies, untill with the marriage of Queen Isabella of Castille and King Ferdinand of Aragon both kingdoms were united, finally expelling the Moors and united Spain.
